1 Forr Ethiopian Ard Forces Worldwide August 31, 2014 H.E. Ato Hailemariam Desalegn Pri Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) P.O. Box 1031 Addis Ababa ETHIOPIA Subject: - The Establishnt of the Forr Ethiopian Ard Forces Worldwide and Appealing for Human Right Observance We mbers of the forr Ethiopian ard forces; ensembles of the ground force, the air force, the naval force, the police, the militia and the national army currently found around the world and living in asylum, at the outset and humbly inform Your Excellency; having embraced unprejudiced eight-point human rights observance objectives, on May 28, 2014 that we had established an association known as the Forr Ethiopian Ard Forces Worldwide. To be able to operate in the United States, as a none-profit and service providing entity, we have herewith attached the official docunt issued to us proving our official establishnt and our legitimacy. As Your Excellency know that the defense force of any country is drawn from amongst the people and its mbers are affinities of the society and its objective is protecting the territorial boundaries, the sea gates and air space of the country by making the necessary scarifies in sweat and blood with the directive provided to it by the then or current leaders or by the governnt. We also mbers of the forr Ethiopian defense force in our country Ethiopia forrly during the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie I, afterwards during the regi of the army having been recruited from amongst the society and based on the gallantry handed over to us from our forebears, without discriminating against any or alienating with governnt until this defense force was dispersed by the Ethiopian People s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) in 1991, it is evident that we had remained protecting the territorial boundaries, the sea gates and the air space of our country. Phone feafww@gmail.com Web site address
2 Forr Ethiopian Ard Forces Worldwide However, following the banning of the forr army in 1991, as if the hundred thousand army mbers are ford by the forr military governnt, implicating them with such nas as the Derg Army, supporters of the Ethiopian Workers Party etc. are isolated without social security or compensation paynt; and are subjected to be punished, troubled, die and live in asylum along their family mbers and are made to suffer from hunger and servitude for a reason of not their cause. Honorable Pri Minister! Let alone for a governnt that utters it will reign or develop democracy and that it has stood for justice even under a dictatorial governnt that stands against such premise there is no country where the mbers of a defense found under it are given nas associated with the governnt and are dispersed. There is no wicked army except a wicked leader. Even ten years after EPRDF tarnished the na of the forr Ethiopian ard forces and had disbanded it, when in 2001 the EPRDF Governnt went into war with Eritrea, it is a recent phenonon that can be rembered that the forr army that EPRDF had disband, dispersed, and put in prison was called to re-enlist and to fight alongside the EPRDF. The forr army as usual with its objective of protecting the territorial integrity of the county; without harboring enmity and without vacillation against the call that stated Your Country Needs You!, Stand Unanimously and Fight! right away receiving directives from the EPRDF governnt and having been deployed to the war front thousands have sacrificed their lives and have beco victims. Had it not been for the fact that they were instructed to stop the fight, they were about to evict the Shab ian army out of Eritrea. Therefore, we don t believe that a proof more than this would be required to attest the fact that this forr Ethiopian defense army had not stood for the interest of an individual or a party that it was an army that had stood to maintain the territorial integrity of its nation. Even today if similar request is received from the Ethiopian people we assure you that this army would not hesitate to provide a similar reply. Honorable Pri Minister! This Army not only that it was dispersed in 1991 in an illegitimate and in-human way, after it was banned in response to the sacrifice it had mad the service it had provided for its country for many years, it is banned without compensation and social security benefits. The Phone feafww@gmail.com Web site address
3 Forr Ethiopian Ard Forces Worldwide subsequent grave problem and suffrage of the army and their family mbers is a horrendous act that is committed by no country in the world and is illegal. We therefore plead for Your Excellency to go deeply through our appeal and to consider our following requests:- 1. If possible to enable the re-enlisting of those of the forr mbers of the army who are willing and whose health and physical condition is fit by considering backpaynt of their 23 years salary and their acceleration. 2. In a condition where this cannot be practicable to observe their pension rights and to pay them compensation for twenty three years. 3. Except associated with legal cri, for a reason of being mbers of the forr army and for the deeds they undertook to maintain the sovereignty of their country, considering this as cri our forr mbers who are under detention to be re-leased without any pre-condition. 4. Your governnt to negotiate with the Eritrean governnt and to have mbers of the forr army to be released who are imprisoned in underground cells in Eritrean deserts simply for being mbers of the forr army and for the gallantry they demonstrated. 5. Members of the Ethiopian forr army who have beco victims, handicaps in the effort they made to protect the territorial boundaries, the sea gates and air space of their country and who were living in the forr Heroes Village are evicted from the village being treated inhumanly, are imprisoned, killed, made to abandon their country and have died considered enemies strayed at every pedestrian walk-way. Many others as a result of this horrific punishnt having nowhere to retreat without any support being provided for them are also made to die thrown at every corner and others are also being seen having beco beggars making shanty and abandon verandas their adobe. In the world if a country exists where such horrendous act is perpetrated it is Phone feafww@gmail.com Web site address
4 Forr Ethiopian Ard Forces Worldwide only Ethiopia. Therefore, these heroes who are alive to be allowed to be re-admitted into the Village or if there is another village to be admitted there. 6. Very few mbers of the forr ard forces who are starving and suffering from assorted malignant problems during their last few years in this world to be allowed to be admitted into one center and receive support 7. Finally, subsequent to EPRDF s entering Addis Ababa our superiors and individuals who are currently exercising power and who instructed mbers of the forr army to sunder and submit their arms and that have committed assassination and torture against the forr army mbers like officials and individuals of the red-terror to be accountable for their cris committed violating the Geneva Convention and to be punished by due process of the law so that the individual victims and families of this horrifying acg will receive justice Honorable Pri Minister! In the na of all mbers of the forr ard forces and in my na we humbly request Your Excellency for your governnt to look into consciously and seriously all the above 7 please we have submitted and to provide us your reply. Ethiopia will Remain Honored forever by its Hero Sons and Daughters! C.C. Captain Ashebir Gebre ashebir gebre His Excellency Mr. Barak Obama President of the United States of Arica H.E.
